I believe that when we come to therapy, we have the potential to heal ourselves. We are the masters of our own paths in life. It’s the circumstances in our lives—such as our social environment and various other factors—which can prevent us from living up to our full potential. I believe that through therapy, these hidden potentials can be realized. As a therapist, I act as a facilitator to help my clients see what they already have inside of them, foster self-acceptance, and help them reach their life goals through discovery of the self and of one’s own strengths.
I support clients struggling with a wide range of concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions). I sometimes practice Zen meditation techniques with my clients and often use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Solution focused therapy. Also, as South Asian woman and an immigrant myself, I can very well understand and relate to the culture and struggles of being an immigrant.
If you have any questions or would like to take the next steps, do not hesitate to connect with me. You can use the links on this page to book your first session or a free 15-minute consultation. I offer therapy in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu. Even if you and I are not the right fit, I would be happy to help you find the right therapist for you.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO and have completed a bridging course in Ontario for internationally trained Mental Health Professionals (Bridge to Registration and Employment in Mental Health). Through this bridging program, I have gained quite valuable experience and knowledge in working in the mental health context of Ontario. I had the privilege to work in the field as a psychotherapy intern in a six-month placement opportunity offered by the program at St. Michael’s Homes, Toronto, under the supervision of a clinical supervisor and Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO. I also have taken several additional certifications and trainings in Ontario, including CBT Level 2, a course designed to offer positives spaces for queer immigrants and refugees, a course on suicide intervention and skills training, and other mental health workshops.
