About Adam’s Training and Credentials
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) (CRPO), a Member of the CCPA, and have an undergraduate degree (HBA) from the University of Toronto.
About Adam
As a therapist, I don’t view my clients through a lens of good or bad; rather, I see them with compassion and empathy, believing that everyone has the potential to improve and contribute to society. I strongly believe in the power of agency—each person can create monumental change in their lives, build mental resiliency, and overcome adversities. I work with individuals facing a range of challenges, helping them externalize their struggles, so they no longer define who they are. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner light and see their unique potential to thrive, free from judgment. This sense of realization of the preciousness of life I aim to reiterate to all my clients is pivotal to my holistic approach and is foundational to therapeutic success.
I specialize in mindful listening and speaking, creating a calm, laid-back, and non-judgmental space where clients can truly be authentic and vulnerable. My approach blends CBT, narrative therapy, strengths-based, and solution-focused techniques to help clients fully understand their concerns, accept their current challenges, and take actionable steps toward sustainable change in their mental health and relationships.

Adam’s Story
Growing up as a competitive athlete, a strong student, and part of a loving, supportive family, I was no stranger to success. Yet, I also experienced firsthand the challenging impact that life’s difficulties can have on mental health. From a young age, psychology and philosophy intrigued me, sparking a passion for understanding human behavior. However, my initial career path led me to international relations and Public Policy, where I hoped to positively influence lives. It wasn’t long before I realized that my desire to help others was limited by my own inability to manage personal challenges.
At a crossroads, I turned to therapy for guidance, and this experience profoundly shifted my perspective on life and my ability to serve others. It was through this transformative process that I discovered my true calling: becoming a therapist. A wise friend once said, “Sometimes the client becomes the therapist,” a sentiment that grows more meaningful with each person I work with. Having faced my own adversities, I’m passionate about helping others overcome theirs, offering the same support that helped me find hope and healing. Becoming a therapist wasn’t just a career choice—it’s my vocation, and I’m honored to help others navigate their journeys, just as I did mine.
