About Jolie
When you feel like you are drowning, flailing your arms and legs in every direction just to survive, or when you find yourself facing confusion, fear, or uncertainty about an important life decision, it may be a sign that it is time to seek support. When life becomes overwhelming and it feels like you can no longer keep yourself afloat, you should not have to go through it alone –
I am here to be your life jacket, offering stability, safety, and compassion through the storm.
Over time, therapy can help you learn how to swim with confidence. Together we can unpack your past experiences and traumas, understand your triggers and emotional reactions, and explore what truly affects you. Therapy can help you identify your needs, clarify your expectations in relationships, and build the confidence to establish healthy boundaries. It can also support you in developing a deeper sense of self-understanding, self-compassion, and self-love.
Sometimes healing begins not with solutions, but with presence—I believe that feeling truly seen and understood by another person can itself be deeply healing. Even when answers are not immediate, having someone sit with you, listen, and understand your experience can begin to ease the weight you carry.
I offer a safe and judgment-free space for you to feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. No matter your past choices or the pain you are carrying, whether from abuse, manipulation, or emotional overwhelm, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you. I listen deeply, offer tools for self-exploration, and work to understand your unique life experience, including your culture, gender, family dynamics, and the way you make sense of the world.
I believe the world is full of good people who sometimes make difficult or painful choices, or who are harmed by the choices of others. Whether you are the one who made the mistake or the one left holding the wound, therapy can help you make peace with your past, choose wisely in the present, and define the future you want.
I invite you to use the links on this page to book an appointment or schedule a free 15-minute consultation call with me, where we can have a relaxed conversation and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
Jolie’s Story
Five years ago, I began serving in orphanages in Kenya, and later in prisons, where I witnessed how one genuine interaction could bring hope. Without offering material help, I saw how presence, care, and deep listening could be profoundly healing to those carrying deep regret, hopelessness, and emotional pain. I have supported single mothers who were neglected or widowed, teens who were abandoned by their parents, and young people who survived physical and sexual abuse within their families. These experiences changed my life and gave me a sense of purpose, and I chose to dedicate myself to being a listening ear and a helping hand for anyone in pain. I meet each person with curiosity, compassion, and the desire to understand their unique story. I believe healing happens through connection, and it is my role to learn how you cope, what you carry, and how I can walk alongside you as you heal.
