About Youssef
Healing is not about erasing pain but learning to coexist with it, finding peace and strength within life’s inevitable struggles. As a psychotherapist, I create a space where healing is approached holistically, honouring the mind, body, and spirit. I believe therapy is more than symptom management, it’s a journey toward deeper self-awareness, emotional regulation, and connection with one’s authentic self. Healing happens in moments of presence, in learning to trust oneself, and in embracing the complexity of the human experience.
My approach blends evidence-based practices with compassionate, human centred support, helping clients cultivate resilience and purpose. Through empathy and curiosity, I encourage clients to explore their inner landscapes, release what no longer serves them, and strengthen their sense of self. Whether
someone is navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or identity struggles, I provide a safe space to process emotions and develop self-compassion. My role is not to impose a path but to walk alongside clients, helping them align with their values, find clarity, and build a life of meaning and connection.
If you’d like to learn more about how I approach individual therapy, you can check out my webpage. If anything comes up or you have questions, feel free to call or send me an email, I’d be happy to connect. You’re also welcome to book a session online or schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. And if it turns out I’m not the right fit, I’ll gladly help point you toward someone who might be.
Youssef’s Story
My path to becoming a therapist grew out of a deep interest in people and how our experiences shape us. I first studied Honours Science, then went on to complete graduate training in psychology and psychotherapy. Along the way, I worked in diverse settings with individuals facing challenges such as trauma, schizophrenia, autism, ADHD, and relationship struggles. These experiences showed me how resilience and healing can emerge when people feel understood and supported. My own values of faith, family, and perseverance continue to guide me in this work. As a therapist, I aim to bring a calm, grounded presence and a solution-focused approach, while creating a space where clients feel safe to open up, reflect, and grow.
Therapy with Youssef
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know you, your story, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like to change. From there, we’ll set some clear goals together and start working step by step toward them. My focus is on creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and encouraged as we move forward.
