As a psychotherapist, I am committed to creating a warm and nonjudgmental space where individuals can embark on their journey of healing and self-discovery. My ultimate goal is to empower my clients and support them in overcoming their challenges, whatever they may be. I specialize in working with various concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem struggles, and life transitions. I firmly believe that each person’s experience is unique, so I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs and goals of each person I work with. I am committed to providing an empathetic, collaborative, and safe space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behavior. I strive to create a trusting environment where clients feel heard, validated, and understood.

I draw from a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed practices. This integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, which can promote insight, self-awareness, and positive change. Together, we will explore your concerns, uncover underlying patterns, and develop practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges. I am here to support you every step of the way as you embark on your journey toward healing, self-discovery, and a more fulfilling life.

Mena’s Story

I believe that our personal stories shape who we are as therapists, and I would be honored to share mine with you. My journey to becoming a therapist has been deeply influenced by my multicultural background, personal experiences, and a genuine passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges.

Having lived in four different countries, I have developed a profound appreciation for the diverse tapestry of human experiences. I understand firsthand the complexities of adapting to new cultures, navigating language barriers, and embracing the richness that multiculturalism brings. This exposure has cultivated my open-mindedness and deep respect for the unique perspectives and struggles that individuals face.

My own life has not been without its struggles. The experience of frequently moving and adapting to new environments has taught me resilience, flexibility, and the importance of self-discovery. I have grappled with feelings of rootlessness and the need to find a sense of belonging. These personal challenges have fueled my passion for helping others navigate their own journeys of self-discovery and finding a sense of place in the world.

As a therapist, I draw upon my multicultural background and personal experiences to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space for individuals from diverse walks of life. I understand the complexities of cultural identity, the impact of transitions, and the resilience required to navigate life’s uncertainties. This understanding allows me to connect deeply with my clients, fostering a therapeutic alliance built on empathy, trust, and collaboration.
