About Nicole

I believe that each person carries the ability to grow, and when given the right tools and support, can thrive under any environment. As a psychotherapist, it is my job to help clients foster this change by using my educational background, experience, and insight. I work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families and understand the importance of relationships, and how at our core, everyone wants to be heard. I see therapy as a resource that can be used to see strengths, create confidence, and develop skills that will last a lifetime. I look forward to building up my clients and find joy in helping them find their voice.

I provide a non-judgmental and person-centred approach that can assist clients with a variety of different challenges. I also implement other modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy and solution focused therapy in order to cater the work to each individual client and help them reach their desired goals. My work is also collaborative, which fosters lasting change.

For more information on how I conduct therapy, or if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to get started with the links on this page. You can book a first session or a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. Even If I am not the right fit, I will happily help you in any way that I can.

Therapy with Nicole

I find one of the most important aspects of therapy is to create a comfortable and safe environment so that you can share your thoughts and feelings. Talking to someone can sometimes feel intimidating, and let’s be honest, scary! This is why I use warmth, validation, and humor to help clients break down these barriers and move towards positive change. In our sessions together we will discuss your main concerns and presenting challenges and we will work through those together. We can create goals, establish new patterns, and work through life’s challenges together. You are not alone.

Nicole’s Story

As with many, my journey to becoming a therapist has been a personal one filled with lots of ups and downs. At a young age I watched friends and family struggle with mental health and addiction. As difficult and character building as this was, I was able to see the beauty in the connection that therapy creates.  I saw first hand how therapy can change individuals’ lives, no matter how “big” or “small” the challenge. My goal is to be that light in someone else’s darkness.
