Test Careers

We're hiring

We are a rapidly growing practice looking for wonderful therapists to join our diverse and talented team! We are looking for therapists that can work at one or more of our three locations.

Information for Affordable Therapy Ontario

Looking to do your psychotherapy practicum? You’re in the right place.

Affordable Therapy Ontario welcomes all students to apply to our practicum program. We welcome all students to apply, as we celebrate and affirm all persons of all cultures, ethnicities, faiths, ages, abilities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and intersectionalities.

What We Offer

Before working with their own clients, therapist interns are provided a thorough orientation and training by our supervisors. Interns are also provided the opportunity to observe our senior therapists in session to get real-life feel of what it’s like to conduct a therapy session. Therapist interns are then provided client files in a measured fashion, so that caseloads grow gradually and sustainably.

We are looking for therapists that can work at one or more of our three locations:
1. Our Mississauga location (close to Square One)
2. Our Guelph location (downtown)
3. Our Vaughan location (Hwy 7 and Dufferin)
Therapists who wish to only work remotely are also encouraged to apply.

We offer therapist interns the opportunity to complete their required Direct Client Contact (DCC) hours by working with individuals, couples, and families in our practice, Building Bridges Psychotherapy.

Interns may be offered the opportunity to work in-person at one of our three locations in southern Ontario (Mississauga, Guelph, and Vaughan). Interns will also provide therapy remotely over video and phone.

We also provide intensive, thorough, and high quality individual and group supervision to our students on a frequent basis, by our experienced clinical supervisors.
