About Samantha

You might feel overwhelmed, stuck, or not quite like yourself right now. Whether things look “together” on the outside or not, you may be carrying anxiety, overthinking, or self-doubt. In our work together, I don’t see you as something to fix, but as someone shaped by your experiences, relationships, and context. We’ll create a space where you can feel genuinely heard and explore what’s been coming up for you, so you can begin to reconnect with yourself in a more compassionate and meaningful way.

I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions more openly. Together, we’ll work to understand the deeper patterns and experiences that may be shaping how you feel, while building a more compassionate relationship with yourself. My approach is rooted in person-centred, emotion-focused, psychodynamic, and attachment-based work, with an emphasis on building self-compassion, supporting you in feeling more grounded, connected, and steady as you move forward.

If you’re feeling a pull toward reaching out, I’d love to hear from you. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding the right therapist can be overwhelming. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. You’re welcome to come as you are, questions and all. We can start with a conversation and see what feels right for you. What matters most is that you feel supported and comfortable, and I’m here to help you find that.

Samantha’s Story

Becoming a therapist for me has been shaped by a lifelong sense of empathy for the people around me, but it really took root after experiencing a sudden loss of someone close to me and beginning my own therapy. I initially went in to work through this specific event, but found other areas of my life naturally coming to the surface. As I began to notice real changes in how I understood myself and moved through my life, I felt drawn to supporting others in that same process. I studied anthropology during my undergraduate degree, where my interest in people, culture, and connection continued to grow. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural extension of that curiosity, as well as a meaningful way to walk alongside others as they begin to understand themselves more deeply.

Therapy with Samantha

In therapy together, we’ll focus on creating a warm, collaborative space where you feel safe to openly express yourself, even the parts that feel hard to say out loud. We’ll take things at your pace, exploring your experiences with care and curiosity.
