About Dana
Sometimes we can find ourselves feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from who we want to be without fully understanding why. Past experiences, relationships, and the expectations we carry can shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. I believe therapy offers a space to slow down and make sense of these experiences without judgment. Together, we can explore what may be beneath the surface, understand where certain patterns may have come from, and find new ways of moving forward that feel more aligned with who you are.
I offer a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where we can explore your emotions, relationships, and the patterns shaping your life. I draw from person-centred, attachment-based, cognitive-behavioural, and trauma-informed approaches, tailoring therapy to your unique needs, experiences, culture, and goals.
Therapy with Dana
Therapy with me is conversational, collaborative, and guided by curiosity. I’ll take the time to understand your story and what matters to you, while gently encouraging you to look beneath the surface. You can expect warmth and compassion alongside thoughtful questions that invite deeper reflection, new perspectives, and meaningful change.
Dana’s Story
My path to becoming a therapist began with a curiosity about people, how our experiences shape the way we think, feel, relate to others, and understand ourselves. I first explored this through my undergraduate studies in Neuroscience and Mental Health, but over time, I became increasingly drawn to understanding the person beyond symptoms or diagnoses. This led me to pursue graduate training in Counselling Psychology and psychotherapy. My approach is grounded in the belief that people make sense within the context of their experiences, relationships, culture, and the environments that have shaped them. As a therapist, I hope to create the kind of space where you can feel genuinely heard, become curious about yourself without judgment, and develop a deeper understanding of who you are and how you want to move forward.
