About Tim

I believe each person who comes in for therapy already possesses the skills and abilities required to help them through their biggest concerns; as a therapist, I see it as a privilege to work alongside you as we uncover and strengthen these skills together. I like to focus on seeing things from your perspective, and then from that place become a guide to look at and work with the parts of you that might be preventing you from reaching your goals.

I provide a space for you to express your perspectives and reflect on your experiences without judgement. There are times when we feel stuck because one part of us wants one thing, and another part wants something different. When we look at what each of those parts wants and why they think it’s important, we can find new strategies to become unstuck and create new ways forward.

I would be happy to talk more about what you’re experiencing and how I might be able to support you to reach your goals. Feel free to book a quick 15-minute phone chat using the links on this page, so we can discuss whether we might be a good fit to work together. Or, if you’re comfortable doing so, you can book yourself in for a first session.

Therapy with Tim

When we start working together, we’ll discuss what you are experiencing and you can also feel free to ask me any questions you have, including about myself and my approach. We’ll talk a little about any background information and who and what is important to you. Finally, we will talk about your goals for therapy and then start the process of working towards making those goals happen.
