About Youssef

As a Psychotherapist, I take an integrative and research-informed approach to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges. Drawing on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and attachment-based perspectives, I help clients uncover the patterns that shape how they think, feel, and relate. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed by stress, conflict, or uncertainty. Together, we’ll get to the heart of what’s holding you back and develop clear, practical strategies to move forward. The focus is on finding balance, gaining clarity, and establishing a confident, authentic sense of purpose that carries through life’s challenges.

I provide structured, evidence-based therapy that combines practical strategies with deep insight into the patterns that shape how we think, feel, and relate. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and major life transitions. My work emphasizes clarity, accountability, and results helping clients make sense of their experiences, align with their values, and build lives that feel purposeful and grounded. Sessions offer a thoughtful space to reflect, gain perspective, and take tangible steps forward, with guidance that is steady, honest, and reliable.

If you’d like to learn more about how I approach individual therapy, you can check out my webpage. If anything comes up or you have questions, feel free to call or send me an email, I’d be happy to connect. You’re also welcome to book a session online or schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. And if it turns out I’m not the right fit, I’ll gladly help point you toward someone who might be.

Youssef’s Story

My path to becoming a therapist grew out of a deep interest in people and how our experiences shape us. I first studied Honours Science, then went on to complete graduate training in psychology and psychotherapy. Along the way, I worked in diverse settings with individuals facing challenges such as trauma, schizophrenia, autism, ADHD, and relationship struggles. These experiences showed me how resilience and healing can emerge when people feel understood and supported. My own values of faith, family, and perseverance continue to guide me in this work. As a therapist, I aim to bring a calm, grounded presence and a solution-focused approach, while creating a space where clients feel safe to open up, reflect, and grow.

Therapy with Youssef

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know you, your story, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like to change. From there, we’ll set some clear goals together and start working step by step toward them. My focus is on creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and encouraged as we move forward.
