About Amanda

I believe each person is unique, and therefore I offer a carefully personalized approach that meets you exactly where you are. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and free to guide the conversation and our work together at your own pace. I work with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, relationship struggles, identity, and self-worth—together, we will explore your particular challenges as well as what matters most to you, and move toward the kind of change you are seeking in your life.

I often support clients navigating anxiety, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, and challenges in family or other relationships. Drawing from CBT, narrative therapy, and emotion-focused approaches, I help clients to deepen self-awareness, strengthen self-trust, and create meaningful changes in how they show up in their lives and relationships.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I am here to make it feel a little easier. If you are curious about working together, I invite you to reach out and book an initial session or a free 15-minute consultation using the links on this page. Even if it turns out I am not the right fit for you, I would be happy to help guide you toward someone who is.

Amanda’s Story

My journey toward becoming a therapist began with a deep curiosity about people and the quiet struggles we all carry. I have always been drawn to listening, and over time, I noticed how everyone experiences pain differently, as well as how healing can look different for each person. Whether it was through connection, self-reflection, or simply being heard, I saw the strength in people’s stories and the resilience they held—this inspired me to become someone who could offer support during those difficult moments. I have always wanted to be the kind of person who listens without judgment and helps others feel less alone, and as a therapist, I am honoured to walk alongside clients as they work through their challenges, reconnect with themselves, and find their own paths toward healing.

Therapy with Amanda

Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and shaped around what matters most to you. In our first session, we will explore your story, your main concerns, and the goals you would like to work toward. Please know that I welcome your feedback and will not be offended if you challenge or question things—that, in itself, can serve as an important part of the process and your growth.
