About Kira

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be your authentic self, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I am an empathetic, warm, and grounded therapist who values genuine connection and meets people exactly where they are. I recognize that life can be messy, painful, and overwhelming, and I believe our hardest experiences can shape us without necessarily defining us. I approach each person with an appreciation for their unique stories, perspectives, and strengths. My hope is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges and to build a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.

I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate life’s complexities, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship challenges, communication issues, and self-exploration. My integrative approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, attachment-based, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman approaches. Together, we can explore unhelpful patterns, develop greater self-understanding, and build coping skills, with the goal of unlocking your full potential.

Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, especially with so many options available, and even more so when you already feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure where to begin. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what you need before reaching out—I’m here to meet you where you are and help you take that first step toward feeling hopeful about what comes next. I invite you to book a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we might be the right fit. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
