About Navneet

Do you ever feel like you have to hide parts of yourself to fit in? Perhaps you’re navigating cultural, family, or societal expectations while trying to build meaningful connections, manage stress or anxiety, or find clarity about who you are and where you’re going. It can be exhausting to move between different worlds, wondering if there is space for all of you. I offer a supportive, affirming space where you don’t have to choose which parts of yourself belong. Together, we can explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and move toward a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

I offer a warm, inclusive, culturally responsive, 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirming space. My approach is collaborative, person-centred, and tailored to your unique needs. Drawing from strengths-based, solution-focused, CBT, DBT-informed, mindfulness, psychodynamic and guided visualization approaches, I support you in navigating challenges and creating meaningful change.

For more information on how I do individual and couples therapy, feel free to view my webpage. If you’re curious about working together, I invite you to book a free 15-minute phone consultation. We can connect, talk about what brings you to therapy, and see whether my approach feels like a good fit for you. If not, I’d be happy to help you find the right therapist.

Therapy with Navneet

Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and centred around you. We’ll take time to understand what’s bringing you to therapy, explore patterns and experiences that may be affecting you, and identify what you’d like to work toward. Together, we’ll find approaches that fit your needs, pace, and goals.

Navneet’s Story

Born and raised in India, my journey has taken me from studying in France to immigrating to Canada, where I completed my Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees in Psychology. Along the way, my personal and professional experiences have shaped my understanding of identity, belonging, and the many layers that make up who we are.

For several years, I’ve supported people living with intellectual disabilities, chronic health conditions, and mental health concerns. I’ve also been deeply involved in community work and advocacy, experiences that have strengthened my belief in the importance of inclusion, connection, and access to meaningful support.

As a trans femme, nonbinary person, person of colour, and first-generation immigrant, I know what it can mean to navigate different parts of yourself and make sense of where you belong. My own journey of understanding my identities and their intersections continues to shape how I show up as a therapist, with curiosity, openness, and compassion.

I’m continually inspired by the resilience people carry. Sometimes we’re so focused on the mountain in front of us that we forget how many mountains we’ve already climbed. I hope therapy can be a space to recognize those strengths, make sense of your experiences, and discover where you want to go next.
