About Rafeah

I believe that seeking therapy is a courageous act of self-care, especially when facing the isolation that can accompany anxiety, depression, or other challenges. Many people feel overwhelmed by life’s pressures, uncertain about their path, and in need of a safe space to explore their thoughts and emotions – I am here to provide that space and support to you.

I take an intersectional approach to therapy, recognizing how various aspects of our identity—culture, race, gender, and more—shape our experiences and well-being. As such, I do not believe any single part of our identity defines us; instead I see each person as a whole, complex individual. My goal is to work alongside you to uncover your unique strengths, foster growth, and create meaningful change in your life.

I provide solution-focused, culturally sensitive therapy, helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions. By exploring thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, we can uncover the roots of our struggles and develop practical strategies for growth and healing, all within a safe, non-judgmental space.

I know that taking the first step in therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to face it alone. If you are ready to explore how I might support your healing and growth, I invite you to reach out. You can book a free 15-minute phone consultation or a session, using the links on this page. Even if we’re not the best fit to work together, I will gladly help you connect with someone who is.
