About Stephanie
I believe that healing happens through multiple forms of connection, including an authentic therapeutic relationship, supportive friends and communities, and a compassionate connection with oneself. I am deeply curious about the personal, cultural, and systemic contexts which influence each person’s lived experiences and desired paths forward. The complexity and uniqueness of the human experience means no therapy should be “one-size-fits-all.” Instead, I uplift each client’s strengths, perspectives, and values through an approach that is tailored to them. I recognize the vulnerability involved with attending therapy, and I am honoured to join each client on their journey of growth.
I prioritize creating an empathetic and collaborative therapeutic space for exploring identity, values, and goals that support meaningful insight and change. My eclectic approach draws from several approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, to flexibly meet each client’s unique needs.
Feel free to reach out for more information, or if you have any questions. If you’re wondering whether I’m the right therapist for you, you can book a free 15-minute phone consultation using the links on this page. I look forward to hearing from you!
