About Vrushalee

To all those who feel confused or stuck, or who are struggling with emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, or other internal wounds: I welcome you. I have helped my clients to

learn coping tools for anxiety and depression, to better manage ADHD, and to process their childhood traumas and relational wounds, enabling them to be more self-aware and confident in facing and embracing life’s challenges and transitions. To facilitate these improvements, I utilize a variety of modalities that are evidence-based and trauma-informed, including psychodynamic, mindfulness, solution-focused, and emotionally-focused approaches, all adapted to best meet my clients’ needs.

I provide a judgment-free space that supports you to feel comfortable opening up, as we empower you to understand and cope with your past, present, and future. I welcome both

individuals (age 18+) and couples, and I can provide therapy in English, Hindi, and Marathi. In addition, I am LGBTQ+ allied, I support marginalized communities, and I am well-informed in issues affecting 1st- & 2nd-generation immigrants.

If you are ready to start your healing journey, feel free to use the links on this page to book a session. If you are still debating whether to start therapy, don’t hesitate to book a FREE phone consultation, so I can better explain what the therapy process is like and answer any questions you may have – I look forward to hearing from you!

Therapy with Vrushalee

In our first session, we will start to build the foundation of our therapy relationship, to uncover what brings you to therapy, and to collaboratively ascertain next steps towards achieving your therapy goals. Each following session focuses on addressing immediate concerns, while also working with various interventions that will be introduced and reviewing their impact. There is always room to realign and readjust as required, based on your feedback and how you are progressing.

Vrushalee’s Story

Coming from an environment where mental health is neglected, I have long been inclined to understand and help those suffering from abuse, trauma, or other unresolved emotional wounds. I worked as a volunteer mental health counsellor for over a decade, where I felt deep purpose and satisfaction; however, when COVID struck, the resulting mental health crisis sparked a desire to convert my volunteering into a full-fledged profession. Amid personal struggles of anxiety, ADHD, injury, and being a 1st-generation immigrant, I endeavoured to complete my Master’s while also working full-time. It was a rigorous 2.5 years, focused on mastering various modalities, researching case studies, and making practical applications. It all culminated in my practicum, where I refined my skills in conducting assessments, case conceptualization, treatment planning, and fostering strong therapeutic relationships – all of this contributing to the therapist I am today, as I continue to fulfill my life’s purpose.
