About Wilsy
Maybe you’ve been holding it all together for so long that you’re not even sure what it would feel like to put some of it down. Maybe you’re functioning, showing up, and getting through the day, while quietly wondering why everything still feels harder than it should. You don’t need the right words for what you’re feeling before you come to therapy. You can simply arrive as you are. Together, we can make sense of what feels difficult or confusing and create space for something to shift. Therapy for me, can be a place to pause, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and begin to understand yourself with a little more compassion.
My approach is grounded in empathy, meeting each client with understanding and without judgment. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I recognize therapy is not one-size-fits-all and work collaboratively with you to support your growth and healing.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I want you to feel comfortable taking that first step. I’d love to connect, hear what brings you to therapy, and learn how I can support you. Reach out for a free 15 minute consultation. I am looking forward to meeting you!
Therapy with Wilsy
Clients often describe the experience of working with me as both grounded and practical, while still feeling emotionally safe. I want you to feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore, and supported enough to try something different. We’ll make sense of what you’re experiencing, gently challenge patterns that no longer serve you, and work together toward meaningful change.
Wilsy’s Story
My path to becoming a therapist began with learning what it means to hold more than one world within yourself. As a first-generation South Asian immigrant, I grew up noticing the many ways identity, relationships, belonging, and expectations shape how we see ourselves—and how easy it can be to lose touch with what we need along the way. That curiosity eventually became a deeper calling to understand people beyond the stories they tell about themselves.
I was drawn to therapy because I believe there is often more beneath the surface of what brings someone through the door: patterns that once protected us, expectations we have carried for years, and parts of ourselves we may have learned to silence.
