About Fatima

Hello! My name is Fatima, and I am open to working with anyone and everyone who is seeking support. I prioritize creating a space that feels safe, real, and non-judgmental, where you can show up as you are. I value empathy, honesty, and cultural humility, and I tailor therapy to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach—some people want more guidance, while others want space to explore and go deeper; I am here for both. I tend to mirror clients so they feel understood, and I strive to meet each person exactly where they’re at. I see therapy as something we do together: you choose the direction, and I will support, reflect, and help you make sense of what comes up along the way.

I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where you can explore your emotions, gain insight, and feel supported. I integrate ACT, CBT, DBT skills, narrative, solution-focused, and person-centred approaches to address your needs. Together, we can work on emotional regulation, coping strategies, and making sense of what feels overwhelming or stuck for you.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just trying to make sense of things, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up as you are and progress at your own pace. If you think we might be a good fit, I would be glad to connect and explore that with you – you can use the links on this page to book a free consultation or a session with me.

Fatima’s Story

My journey into therapy wasn’t something I planned; it unfolded through experience and connections. I studied Health Sciences in my undergrad, always curious about people and how the mind and body work, but I didn’t originally see myself as a therapist. A turning point came when I worked as a psychosocial support worker abroad. In that space, I saw how powerful it is when someone feels genuinely heard and not alone.

I’ve always been the person others naturally open up to—the listening ear, someone who sits with people without judgment. Over time, I realized therapy is not just about tools or insight, but about presence, safety, and real human connection. Alongside this, I developed an interest in mental health and neuroscience, exploring how awareness and gentle shifts in patterns can support change.

At the heart of my work is this: you matter. I hold that belief toward every person I sit with.

Therapy with Fatima

In therapy with me, we begin by building a foundation: getting to know your story, your context, and what’s bringing you in. I provide a warm, friendly, and supportive energy, and I aim to create a space that feels safe, open, and non-judgmental. I also apply flexibility – if something doesn’t feel like it’s working for you, we can absolutely adjust our approach to better fit your needs. Different people respond to therapy in different ways, so I tailor my style depending whether you need more support, reflection, or structure. My goal is to cultivate a strong, collaborative relationship where you feel understood and supported.
