About Meeraa
I often support individuals who feel like they are constantly navigating multiple identities, whether between cultures, generations, or expectations. Many of my clients are second-generation Canadians raised in collectivist households, and they often feel the weight of being the bridge between their parents’ values and their own needs. Working with you in therapy, I offer a space where you don’t have to be “put together;” where you can stop performing and breathe a sigh of relief. We explore how your story, family roles, and inner patterns shape how you show up today, so you can begin living with greater clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
I support clients in exploring identity, boundaries, and emotional overwhelm through a grounded and culturally-aware lens. My approach is warm, steady, and collaborative, helping clients gain clarity around their needs, build emotional insight, and make intentional changes that feel aligned with their values and lived experience.

Meeraa’s Story
I became a therapist not because I had all the answers, but because I spent years seeking space for life’s big questions: Who am I beyond expectations? Is it okay to crave ease? How do I love others while also honouring my own needs? Growing up South Asian Canadian, I carried unspoken emotional weight, balancing responsibility and self-sacrifice with guilt for needing rest or shame for feeling different. My training as a therapist and nutritional practitioner gave me tools, but my own journey—learning to listen inward, soften self-doubt, and release pressures—truly shapes my work. I understand how powerful it is to have a therapist by your side as you heal old wounds or craft new stories. I support those navigating transitions, guilt, shame, identity, belonging, or yearning for honest connections. Together, we’ll create a gentle space to feel and reflect at your pace.
