About Saira
I believe that everyone I support already possesses, on some level, the capacity to work through their own challenges; my role is to facilitate that process by helping them to remove blocks, build awareness, and access their own inner strengths and personal resources. I believe that healing and growth happen in connection with others, and so I prioritize building a therapeutic alliance grounded in authenticity and collaboration, while providing a non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate space for self-exploration.
Many of my clients are navigating issues around identity, relationships, cultural expectations, life transitions, or the impact of past experiences. You may be seeking clarity, relief, and a space where you don’t have to explain or perform. I see therapy as a gentle process that helps you slow down, make meaning, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels clarifying, authentic, and sustainable.
Therapy with me is collaborative and compassionate, rooted in empathy and focused on the goals that are most important to you. I offer an integrative, trauma-informed approach that draws from person-centered, psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, and Emotion-Focused therapies. Together, we will explore your patterns, emotions, and nervous system responses while building practical tools for coping, boundaries, and self-compassion at a pace that feels safe and respectful of your process.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable. There are no “right words,” nor any clear plan needed on your end, aside from a willingness to show up as you are. If you’re curious about working together, I’d be glad to connect and explore whether this feels like the right fit for you. Feel free to use the links on this page to book a session or a free 15-minute phone consultation with me, where I can address any questions or concerns you have. Even if you and I are not the right fit, I would be happy to help you find the right therapist for you.
Saira’s Story
My path toward becoming a therapist grew out of lived experience, curiosity, and a deep respect for human resilience. As an immigrant and a parent, I’ve navigated cultural transitions, identity shifts, and the complexity of holding multiple roles while caring for others. These experiences shaped my interest in how people adapt, cope, and sometimes also lose themselves in the process.
I was drawn to counselling psychology because it values both insight and compassion, by seeking to understand where our patterns come from while also supporting meaningful change. My training emphasizes cultural humility, relational dynamics, and the mind-body connection. I believe healing happens not through fixing what’s “wrong,” but through safety, connection, understanding, and being deeply seen. Therapy, for me, is a space to make sense of your story and reclaim parts of yourself with care and intention.
Therapy with Saira
We’ll begin by understanding your story, context, and what brings you to therapy. From there, we will explore various emotions, patterns, and relationships that may be shaping your experience. Along the way, we will work toward your goals in a way that supports your sense of agency and brings greater clarity into your life.
