About Aisa

“The greatest blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach” – Seneca

I am passionate about working with people who want to understand themselves more deeply and to use that self-awareness to build a life that feels authentic to them. I believe in the power of connection, especially now—our society puts enormous pressure on people while leaving them increasingly isolated. I don’t think anyone should have to carry that burden alone.

My goal is to offer a space where you can feel safe in your body, safe in your relationship with me, and safe to be unapologetically yourself. I welcome all of who you are, including the parts that feel messy, painful, or hard to look at. In my experience, those parts don’t need to be pushed away—they need room to be acknowledged and understood.

I see growth as something that happens over time, often in ways we don’t immediately notice. I would love to be present with you during that process and help you make sense of what comes up along the way.

My approach draws on person-centred and mindfulness-based perspectives. I view a large part of my role as reflecting back what I notice (including your strengths, your patterns, and your blind spots) in a way that is honest but never harsh. From there, we can explore and figure out together what you may want to do with those insights.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out – you can book a session or schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation with me, using the links on this page. Even if we’re not the right fit, I would be happy to help connect you with a therapist who is.

Aisa’s Story

I have been drawn to psychology for as long as I can remember. I started volunteering in the mental health field as an undergraduate, and it didn’t take long for me to realize this was what I wanted to do with my life. I spent years immersing myself in volunteer work, studying theory, and doing my own inner work.

A lot of what I bring to my practice comes from my own healing journey. I have spent years working on my mental health, learning to relate differently to myself and others. Mindfulness meditation and somatic practices like vipassana and kriya yoga were a big part of that process, and they continue to shape how I show up as a therapist today.

I know firsthand that healing is not easy. It can be deeply confronting and, at times, terrifying. I’m grateful for the people who walked alongside me when I felt like I was in the dark, and I would love to offer that same support to others.
