About Arushi

I find myself constantly amazed by the resilience of the human mind and its capacity to grow and heal following trauma, in ways that are unique, yet parallel across individuals. Have you been feeling lonely, overwhelmed, and critical of yourself? Are you comparing yourself with others, feeling like you are falling behind, no matter what you do? If so, I can understand what you are going through; I believe you need someone to talk to without feeling dismissed or minimized — someone who truly hears and understands you. If you want to create lasting positive changes, to heal and grow beyond whatever is haunting you, and to live life joyously, guided by your values and priorities, I am here to guide and support you. I can help you navigate changes, relationships, culture, and the impact of past wounds as together we work towards your goals.

I use an authentic, easygoing, attachment-based, and conversational approach, backed by evidence-based modalities like Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, Narrative Therapy, parts work, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Some areas I specialize in include relationship issues, self-criticism, depression, anxiety, PCOS and fertility issues, parent wounds, narcissistic abuse, and immigrant stress.

I truly believe we all possess vast inner power and wisdom; we just need to feel safe and supported enough to give it a voice and allow it to come forth. I want to become part of your support system, so you no longer have to face things alone — together, we can find ways to process complicated thoughts and emotions, one at a time. If my approach resonates, I would love to hear from you!

Therapy with Arushi

I work well with clients struggling with self-criticism, and also with those experiencing depression or anxiety around relationship issues, especially with parents or partners. During our sessions, we will work together to understand the impact of your challenges on your life, set achievable goals that we can work towards, and figure out how to build the life you want, as I offer consistent support throughout the process.
