About Heather

The challenges we bring to therapy, whether it’s anxiety, loneliness, people-pleasing, shame or even something that hasn’t yet been named, are not ours to carry alone. My approach is based on the notion that we do not heal in isolation. We heal in relation; both with ourselves and with others. Which means, quite simply, the therapy relationship itself becomes a significant tool for change. You won’t find me sitting on the sidelines, but rather beside you on this journey; present, curious and real. Our work together centers on deepening connection, developing resiliency, and fostering positive change both within and beyond the self.

I approach therapy through an integrative humanistic & relational lens that emphasizes compassionate, culturally-rooted and direct connection. I work with individuals and couples who may be feeling weighed down; whether stuck in old patterns, navigating life transitions, or even wrestling with deeper existential curiosity. Our work together will focus on finding clarity, emotional ease, and a renewed sense of connection to yourself and others.

Healing happens in relation and it starts with a single conversation. I offer a free 15-minute consultation; a chance for you to ask questions, share a little of what’s on your mind, and get a feel for who I am in a room. Even if we might not be the right fit for one another, I will help direct you to the right therapist for you! I look forward to the chance to connect.
