About Ping’s Training and Credentials
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree, and I also hold a Master of Social Science in Mental Health, with a focus on Cognitive Behavior Therapy in the Clinical stream. In addition to my expertise in individual therapy, I am well-versed in family therapy techniques.

I believe that everyone has the potential to heal, grow, and change. I believe that everyone has their own unique story and needs. Just like a locked door, our challenges and struggles can seem insurmountable at times. But with the right support and guidance, we can find the key to unlock these barriers and live more freely. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to discover their challenges, tap into their inner strengths, and achieve their goals.

I use a strengths-based approach and I view my clients as unique individuals. I provide a supportive and collaborative partnership to help them develop new skills and insights for a more fulfilling life.

As a therapist with a decade of clinical experience, I specialize in helping individuals overcome challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, traumatic experiences, and self-exploration.

I use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based therapy. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship with empathy, respect, and non-judgment. Together, we will develop personalized treatment plans to meet your unique needs, working collaboratively towards lasting change and greater happiness and fulfillment in life. Whether you are facing specific issues or feeling stuck, I am here to support you on your journey towards greater well-being.

Please feel free to connect with me. I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to determine if we are a good fit for one another, and if not, I can provide resources to help you find the right therapist. My aim is to help clients heal, grow, and connect with themselves and others, finding hope and meaning in their lives. If you’re struggling with issues I specialize in, I would be honored to work with you on your journey of self-discovery and transformation.

Ping’s Story

Having grown up in a family where mental health issues and related challenges were present, I developed an interest in understanding the impact of these issues on individuals and families. This experience sparked my interest in understanding the ways in which therapy could facilitate healing and growth. During my undergraduate years, I studied Social Work and conducted research on the relationship between stress and mental health. This furthered my interest in the therapeutic process and its potential to help those who have experienced trauma or injustice. After completing my bachelor’s degree, I pursued a master’s degree in Mental Health and gained experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, from elderly centers to family service centers. My working experience includes designing training and counseling programs for children with cognitive impairments, creating addiction recovery programs for teenagers and adults, and assisting families with marriage problems and parent-child conflicts. I draw on these experiences to adjust my intervention methods and create personalized case plans for each client. Ultimately, I believe in the transformative power of therapy and am committed to helping others find their own path towards a fulfilling life.

Therapy With Ping

In therapy, I take a personalized approach that prioritizes building a strong relationship based on trust and understanding. Our first step will be getting to know each other, with the goal of establishing empathy and rapport. During this phase, I look forward to getting to know you better. From there, we will work together to identify your needs and concerns, as well as set clear goals for therapy. Throughout the process, I will provide unwavering support and encouragement as you delve deeper into your inner self, if you are ready. Our regular sessions will be tailored to your individual needs, ensuring steady progress toward achieving your goals. And to help you apply what you learn in therapy to your daily life, I may provide homework or exercises that promote continued growth and change.
