About Stephany’s Training and Credentials
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO and a member of the CCPA. I hold an Advanced Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
About Stephany
I believe therapy is about giving each individual client the space and support they need to process and work through what has been plaguing their minds, hearts, and bodies. Some problems can seem impossible to manage, but these problems may simply require more time and more help to break the larger issues down into smaller, more achievable pieces, and to figure out what can be done—that’s where I come in. While I’m not there to dictate what to do or how to do it, it can be helpful to have someone present who wants to listen and understand, and who has evidence-based techniques in their back pocket to help guide your healing journey, while also walking it alongside you.
Therapy with me is inherently collaborative: we will move at your pace while building on your existing strengths through self-exploration and skill-building. My clients tend to leave therapy feeling more in control of their lives, with greater confidence in their own ability to manage difficult situations and adapt to new life transitions and roles.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. You can book a session using the links on this page, or a free 15-minute consultation can be a great way to see if I can help you on your unique therapeutic journey. Even if not, no worries—I would still be happy to help you connect with another therapist who is a better fit for you.
Therapy with Stephany
In our first session together, I will ask for some background information on you, as this can be helpful later on, while we also explore what brought you to therapy and what your therapy goals are; for these reasons, that first meeting might be longer than our standard session time. From there, our sessions should feel very collaborative and productive, as we work together to address the concerns you are bringing in!
