About Courtney

I believe that every person is unique, and so is their story. Trauma, personal experiences, relationships, illness, and societal barriers can profoundly shape how we perceive both ourselves and the world, and how we interact with others. These factors create a complex tapestry of beliefs, values, and dreams, contributing to each individual’s distinct identity and worldview. Growing up in a small town, I often felt the heavy silence surrounding mental health issues. This experience fueled my passion for understanding the nuances of human emotion and behavior. I have had the privilege of helping individuals navigate their challenges and achieve their goals through a holistic and collaborative approach.

I’ve worked with diverse clients facing various presenting issues, from anxiety and depression to relationship struggles and trauma recovery. I believe in creating a safe and empathetic environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. By integrating evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of personal narratives, I empower individuals to find their paths to healing and self-discovery.

For more information about my approach to therapy, please visit my webpage. If you have any questions, you can reach out via phone or email and I’d be happy to chat more. You can also schedule a session or a free 15-minute consultation directly through my site. If it turns out that we’re not the right fit, I would be more than happy to assist you in finding a therapist who meets your needs.

Courtney’s Story

My journey to becoming a therapist was driven by multiple factors. Growing up in a small town has long since fueled my passion for opening up the conversation surrounding mental health and the stigma attached to it. Initially pursuing a career in education, I became acutely aware of the struggles many children and their families face in silence and without access to appropriate resources. I wanted to make a bigger impact on communities as a whole, and I believed that

change could happen in the therapy room, with positive ripple effects for years to come. Each client I work with teaches me something new; they continue to remind me of the inherent strength in vulnerability and I consider it an honor to walk alongside them in that journey.
