About Heaven


Building a therapeutic relationship with a safe and non-judgemental professional can do wonders in a world where each individual navigates life through their own lens, narratives and perspectives. I believe that seeking support to deepen your relationship to and understanding of self, and the ways you relate to others takes courage. Our cultural contexts, personal upbringings, experiences and relationships influence how we learn to process and work through our emotions and difficult circumstances. Together, we can empathically lean into curiosity and connect pieces that have often felt confusing or disconnected for some time.


In therapy, I prioritize a calm, safe, empathetic and trauma-informed environment. My collaborative therapeutic approach, draws from experiential and psychodynamic frameworks, unravelling what brings you to therapy while also creating space for processing difficult emotions, past experiences. From that, I believe we can work towards a future of healing and growth that is lasting and promotes prosperity.

Heaven’s Story


Growing up, I spent countless hours contemplating careers where I could support others. Early on, I dreamt of navigating international spaces where global dynamics impacted individuals in ways I deeply empathized with as a child of immigrant parents. I sat with these dreams for years until I encountered the discipline of Human Geography, which focused on how the location of people (both locally and globally) impacts their lives and ability to prosper. Together, my studies and professional experience working at non-profit organizations providing support to transient, unhoused and low-income populations brought me to Social Work. Here, I realized that my care for the complex challenges impacting individuals and populations locally and globally could blend together. This ultimately led me to the strengths of therapy. As a Registered Social Worker, I lead from a social justice lens and aim to support people through the various barriers and traumas impacting their livelihoods and wellbeing.
