Life happens to all of us, and it can be unfair, traumatic, disappointing, and stressful. It can leave you feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, hurt, and exhausted. Know that no matter the situation, you have what it takes; you are enough to overcome the problems that pose as barriers to your authentic connection to yourself and others. I have supported and equipped individuals, couples, and families to live a relational life of authentic connection to themselves and others regardless of the circumstances they encounter. There is hope in every situation! Remember, through the metamorphosis comes a beautiful butterfly!
I am a relational, trauma-focused Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist whose empathy helps to create a safe, empowering, and non-judgmental space where you can process complex issues like PTSD and other psychosocial problems. Are you experiencing challenges in navigating your way through a tough time in your life? I will work collaboratively with you to find strategies needed to navigate and resolve difficulties that negatively impact your mental health.
For more information on how I practice therapy, or if you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to me. Using the links on this page, you can book a session or a free 15-minute phone consultation. Even if you and I are not the right fit, I would be happy to help you find the right therapist for you.
Therapy with Josset
I am honoured to be invited on your journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. Hence, from our initial session, the goal will be to help you feel safe, heard, and valued as a unique person. Usually, for the first session, I will orient you to the therapeutic process, so you know what to expect and get to know who you are apart from the problem. Finally, you’ll talk about your concerns that brought you to therapy and the outcome/goals you’re hoping to achieve throughout our time together.
