About Omhani

I believe that healing occurs in relationships, whether this be with ourselves, our community, or the systems we occupy. My goal is to co-create a therapeutic space that honours your lived experience and equips you to live a life that feels aligned with your values.

Getting to explore different perspectives is part of why I do this work. When I’m not asking clients how they feel, I immerse myself in different POVs by reading YA fantasy and writing cultural analyses. I also enjoy running outdoors in the company of friends (or a carefully curated playlist.

I offer a compassionate and collaborative space to explore emotions, patterns, and identity. Using ACT, CBT, and somatic exercises, I help clients build coping skills, strengthen self-concept, and improve relationships. Together, we focus on uncovering values, regulating emotions, and creating meaningful, sustainable change.

Starting therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to explore your story in a safe and supportive space, I invite you to reach out. Whether you’re looking for tools to cope, a place to heal, or someone to walk alongside you, I would be honoured to support your journey toward growth and self-connection.

Omhani’s Story

My path to becoming a therapist began long before my formal training. As the eldest daughter of immigrant parents, I often found myself navigating systems, bridging cultural expectations, and offering support to those around me. These early responsibilities gave me a deep appreciation for resilience, empathy, and the power of being understood. Pursuing psychology and counselling felt like a natural extension of these values. Through my academic journey and clinical experiences in community agencies, private practice, and youth services, I have supported individuals and families facing anxiety, trauma, identity challenges, and relational conflict. Today, as a therapist, I draw on both my lived and professional experiences to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to find their own voice and build lives aligned with their values.

Therapy with Omhani

During our first sessions together, we’ll set the context for your presenting concerns; we’ll consider your significant relationships, vocation, and other relevant items. We’ll complete the assessment period by collaborating to set therapeutic goals. Subsequent sessions will focus on working towards these goals.
